Dear Parents/Carers,

The children have all settled back into the pre-school routine and have adapted well to any changes which have been necessary due to the Coronavirus outbreak!   Although it is ‘business as usual’ during the sessions, we are still having to ask that adults do not enter the setting – but even this is working better than we anticipated!

We would remind you not to send your child into the pre-school if they have any of the following symptoms:-

  • A new continuous cough (coughing for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours
  • A high temperature
  • Loss or change in sense of smell or taste

It is very important that we are all aware of what to do if a member of staff, child or parent has any of the above symptoms and we attach a letter from GOV.UK which fully sets out this information.

Government guidance also recommends that the hall is well ventilated and that we take the learning environment outside as much as possible.  With this in view we would ask that you dress your child appropriately and provide them with warm clothes and a jacket for outside play.

Please also find attached a leaflet which sets out the procedure for applying for a school place if your child is due to start in September 2021.

We also attach a flyer which details plans for The Great Dorset Pumpkin Trail which should make it a safe and happy Halloween, even though it will be a bit different this year!

A reminder that we break up for half term on Friday, 23rd October, returning on Monday, 2ndNovember.  The last day of term will be Friday, 11th December and we will return on Monday, 4thJanuary 2021.

Many thanks – THE PRIORY VIEW TEAM
